The Ecology of Greenland is a textbook on ecology written for the Educational sector in Greenland. One aim is to allow students to acquire a basic knowledge of the ecology of their country as part of a long-term commitment to education. A further objective has been to develop a technical terminology in Greenlandic to facilitate future discussion and decision-making in vital ecological and environmental issues.
